Sole frontend ownership across tbd.health, patient and clinician portals, and the Strapi CMS—from design and API integration through testing, release, AWS operations, and maintenance. TBD Health: November 2022–January 2026 · Wisp: January–July 2026

I worked alongside backend engineers and the CTO. Designs came from Figma or were sometimes my own. Routine AWS operations included DynamoDB, Cognito, Amplify and Secrets Manager.

The four rooms show owner-approved interface captures within an illustrative building. The website is a static archive restoration; the portal and CMS views were captured in October 2026. Clinician previews arrange three empty-state crops, with no patient records. Scroll to travel through the rooms. Pointer movement gently changes the viewing angle within each room; it reveals no exclusive content.

Innovative Service Center: original HASPR project presentation
Original project presentation from HASPR.

The challenge

Running a vehicle-service business involves more than taking bookings. Customer records, packages, billing, staff, and daily reporting all need to work together. The client wanted to reduce the manual effort involved in managing those connected tasks.

The work

The Haspr team developed an operations platform, an administrator interface, and a customer mobile app. The published work includes sales reporting, tailored billing, employee-management interfaces, and customer access to vehicle and service-package details.

Inside the product

  • Sales reports, GST calculations and billing with multiple users.
  • Employee attendance, salary payments and loan records.
  • Customer vehicle details, service packages, bookings and payments.

The decisions

Different people needed different views of the same business. We separated customer-facing tasks from the operational tools, while keeping a consistent visual language. A service package could be understandable to a customer without exposing the complexity of the internal system.

The outcome

The project grew into a connected set of web and mobile experiences, supported by identity and marketing work. Customer services, staff workflows, and business operations became parts of one product system.

The published case describes nearly a year of collaboration, spanning the website, customer app, identity and marketing.

Schoolbus Karo: original HASPR project presentation
Original project presentation from HASPR.

The challenge

Parents wanted to know where the bus was. Drivers needed a practical way to support tracking and attendance. The operator needed to manage customers, buses, and fees without keeping the whole service together manually.

The work

The studio designed a parent app, a driver/partner app, and an administrator panel. The case study includes live location, attendance, trip information, fee plans, and payment workflows. The partner experience supported English and Hindi.

Inside the product

  • Live bus location, attendance, trip reports and notifications for parents.
  • Online fees and OTP-based offline payment workflows.
  • Phone-number sign-in and an English/Hindi partner app for drivers.

The decisions

The product had to work for three audiences without giving all of them the same interface. Parents received a focused view of their child’s journey and fees; drivers received the tools needed on a route; administrators received the broader management view.

The outcome

A connected service across mobile and web, with a shared identity and interfaces shaped around each person’s job. Parents could follow a journey, drivers could support it, and administrators could manage the wider operation.

The case describes six months of collaboration and reports more than 500 enrolled children at publication. This is a historical figure, not a current user count. These images document the original Schoolbus Karo project.

Online Accounting: original HASPR project presentation
Original project presentation from HASPR.

The challenge

Accounting work is repetitive, detailed, and often driven by muscle memory. Moving it into a browser should not mean slowing people down or making them reach for the mouse at every step.

The work

The studio explored a web application for vouchers, ledgers, reports, and GST-related workflows. Its documented stack combined Next.js with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The case study also describes shared-account synchronization and a choice of themes.

Inside the product

  • Keyboard shortcuts for vouchers, ledgers and reports.
  • Shared-account synchronization and a utility bar for data entry.
  • A theme store; Next.js frontend with Node.js, Express and MongoDB.

The decisions

Keyboard access was a product decision, not a finishing touch. Navigation and common actions were designed around shortcuts, with frequently needed tools close to the working area. The aim was to preserve the pace people expected from familiar accounting software.

The outcome

The product reached beta testing and iteration, bringing together accounting workflows, keyboard navigation, and shared-account synchronization. It gave the studio room to work across frontend, backend, and the detailed behavior of a daily-use product.

The published case places the product in beta testing and ongoing iteration. It does not establish a current production release.

Hyre Me: original HASPR project presentation
Original project presentation from HASPR.

The challenge

A hiring product for smaller cities needed to account for language, confidence, and unfamiliarity with complex onboarding. The challenge was to make the first steps clear while still collecting useful information.

The work

The team conducted field research in smaller cities and villages, developed the identity, and iterated on the onboarding flow. The product supported people looking for work, people posting jobs, and merchants promoting their businesses. The documented mobile implementation used React Native.

Inside the product

  • An early choice between finding work and posting a job.
  • Regional job discovery, merchant listings and business promotions.
  • Field research in smaller cities and villages, followed by onboarding iterations.

The decisions

An early choice separated two clear intentions: find a job or post one. That gave the experience a direct starting point. The rest of the interface needed to stay approachable, with local relevance and a consistent visual language across the product.

The outcome

The work brought the mobile experience, supporting website, and launch material together around one approachable identity. Field research shaped the product from its first choices through the details of onboarding.

The case covers product research, identity, a React Native app and launch marketing. Expansion and funding are described as plans, not completed outcomes.

Khajuraho Expo: original HASPR project presentation
Original project presentation from HASPR.

The challenge

Khajuraho is a place of architectural scale and intricate detail. A digital experience needed to offer more than a collection of photographs: visitors needed a way to orient themselves, explore, and understand what they were seeing.

The work

The Haspr team visited the temples, photographed and filmed the structures, and gathered context for the experience. The published project describes mapped exploration, content across ten languages, audio and visual material, and mobile gyroscope navigation.

Inside the product

  • Temple visits, photography, video and research informed the experience.
  • Map-based exploration with audio and visual storytelling in ten languages.
  • Mobile gyroscope navigation for exploring the temple landscape.

The decisions

The experience combined different ways to explore. A map gave visitors an overview; panoramic exploration and device movement offered another point of view; language choices made the narrative accessible to a wider audience. The visual design connected those parts into one journey.

The outcome

I contributed design and frontend engineering with Haspr. The browser tour brought fieldwork, panoramic exploration, and multilingual storytelling together. The temple sequence in this portfolio revisits that project through a new illustrated experience.

These images document the original HASPR tour. The temple sequence elsewhere in this portfolio is a later creative treatment. The linked living atlas is the current Khajuraho experience.

Haspr / The studio

A studio of our own.

Five people, learning by making. Haspr gave us a place to take our ideas seriously and turn them into work for real clients. We began by building experience, then took on projects that asked us to understand businesses as well as interfaces.

The work ranged from school transport and vehicle servicing to accounting, local job discovery, and a digital journey through Khajuraho. Each project brought a different audience, a different set of constraints, and a new reason to connect design with engineering.

As a co-founder and design engineer, I worked across those disciplines and designed and built the studio’s own website. It became a way to express the care we put into the work: bold typography, playful interactions, and an identity rooted in the people who made it.

These selected projects trace that chapter: different businesses, different challenges, and a team learning how much we could build together.

About this film

The original Khajuraho project is a browser tour with ten-language audio guides and gyroscope navigation. This portfolio film is an illustrated interpretation.

Audio transcript: Kandariya Mahadeva stands within Khajuraho's Chandella temple group. Across the group, sandstone platforms rise toward clustered Nagara shikharas. At the threshold, the temple's dedication to Shiva becomes quiet and concentrated.
