MadeSoon.

One idea.
Two builders.
A connected journey.

MadeSoon is a working identity for Abhay Rohit and Sanjay Kumar Gautam. We are both full-stack builders with different emphases. I led the website’s art direction and frontend implementation, making that shared story tangible through one continuous Relay.

The brief

A studio identity that
moves like a conversation.

The website had to introduce two people without reducing them to a designer and a developer. Experience, art direction and frontend work are my emphasis; platform and AI workflows are Sanjay’s. Both of us build across the stack.

The visual answer was a Relay: an object that changes hands, appears in new materials and scenes, and arrives at a clear contact invitation. The interaction had to remain useful when animation, pointer effects or browser graphics were unavailable.

MadeSoon Pass chapter: two hands exchange the glass Relay over a lavender field while the headline says The hand changes. The intent stays.

Design + engineering decisions

What made it work.

The visual direction asked for a continuous journey. The implementation had to make that journey legible, operable and recoverable.

  1. 01 / Continuity

    One object carries the story.

The glass Relay begins as the visual center of the opening and travels through handoff, portraits, process, studies, scope and contact. Each chapter has its own composition, but the object keeps a line of cause and effect between them. I worked on the timing, responsive framing and forward and reverse handoffs so the journey could be explored rather than only watched.

  2. 02 / Interface

    The story remains navigable.

An animated chapter handoff can strand keyboard focus when the outgoing scene becomes inert. I captured focus before that change and moved it to the incoming heading on explicit navigation. Chapter links and study controls remain available alongside reduced-motion, no-JavaScript and graphics-loss paths for reaching the content and contact route.

  3. 03 / Truth in presentation

Show the work at its actual stage.

The site uses portraits of the two builders and presents art direction and product experience, and platform and AI, as different emphases within a shared full-stack practice. Its Studio Studies are labeled generated concepts. They express a visual point of view; they are not presented as delivered client work.

The public record

Live work,
clear boundaries.

The website is live at madesoon.tech. This case records the art direction and frontend decisions behind its Relay journey, chapter navigation and fallback paths.

MadeSoon remains a working identity. Its Studio Studies are disclosed generated concepts. No delivered client projects, business results or field performance are attributed to this work.
